can I change my mind...

(Ariadne's knots... unfinished)

I have started writing little info cards to go with my new sister prints (I am getting these ready to list in my shops soon).  I am a little worried though... once I have posted these images and my ideas about them are out in the world, can I change my mind? can I decide that maybe Ariadne is not so fond of sheep anymore, that in fact she is a little afraid of them? Or that maybe Arabella isn't completely who I thought she was? or that Genevieve doesn't actually like to talk? Can I change my mind... ?

Course you can change your mind. You are the creator! And you are female so it's kind of obligatory that you do.

Love her by the way. Clever clogs.

of course and you should. that makes them all the more interesting and almost human. It would make me want to have several copies of maybe Ariadne herding sheep and then she experiences a terrible incident with them that catapults her into a new direction. Sounds like fun!

Well, they are women, so yes, they can change their minds after all. :D

Sure you can change your mind. I think there should be a story behind it too. :)

Ariadne got bitten by one of the sheeps and is now terrified of them.

Arabella might have a split personality or she's a little sneeky making everyone believe she is something else but you totaly figured her out.

And Genevieve developed a soar on her tounge and has doctors orders not to talk for a month which actually made her see the world around her differently since she had to listen for a change and not talk. That really blew her mind and she desided to keep quiet for a bit longer. :)

Great painting! :) Love her dress.

ok, that soar was meant to be sore. :))

Yes because you will weave it in to the story and explain why. After all there must be some things in life that put you off sheep for life!

This is a work in progress, you are not finished yet, so changing your mind is pretty much going to happen over and over again until you're completely done. I think it's cool you're sharing the process. ;-)

Change is good! Creative people always have to manage change. BTW, do you have prints of Genevieve available. I would love to buy one.
