I have started a new lot of work and these are the working drawings...
I am getting used to arms and hands, they are getting easier... but still a little odd. With the holidays coming up I am hoping to get these 7 done before I go back to work. The series will be called 'close to my heart'. I am excited about starting these and am itching to get started, but there are a few things I need to get done before I can truly start.

Hi Katherine,
What delightful working drawings. I notice a lot of intriging variation in the different poses and outfits of your girls, and their hands are delicious. I'm looking forward to the colours and textures appearing. I hope you have an creatively excellent holiday.

Love your blog and your Etsy shop. Quite unique. I always have a problem with hands too but I tend to get my family to pose in the position I want the hands to be in, then photograph them and copy the photo. Otherwise I use magazine hands...LOL Cheating I know but they are difficult things to draw.
just love your work ! i found you on etsy too -
