One of the hardest things...

(One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter)

(to the world you may just be one person to one person you may be their world)

Here is a little peek at the two new inspire paintings I started last night...

My body feels like it is being pulled in so many directions lately. I really don't know what way is up, there are so many things on in my mind... confusing things, exciting things, scary things, good things, bad things, ok things, big things, small things, etc... the list goes on.

Hope you feel better soon. My friend would say that those hectic times are the best times to make art, and it looks like you are doing just that. :)

Oh Katherine! I love the first one. That saying means so much to me right now.
Great work.

Might be time to take advice from your lovely painted girls and "take time to catch your breath." I know just how it is when your mind is on overload. Your two new girls are just wonderful! So inspiring! Hugs, Silke

When overwhelm strikes, consider breaking things down to the smallest steps possible. (ei. - want to write a novel - begin with just two sentences a day everyday). Small steps are a great way to gently begin and treat our creative self with compassion. Your work is so lovely and touching - give yourself credit for your two new glorious creations! (credit checks - another nice creative oasis tool!)

I especially love the first one! Before my mother died (She was 44 and I was 22) I wanted so much to tell her that I loved her but those were words we felt but never actually spoke. I did finally dare to say the words but it was so foreign to me and it shouldn't have been.
Because of that experience I've told my kids continually 'I love you'. I never wanted them to fear the words like I did or feel uncomfortable saying it.
I hope things go well for you, your art has touched me♥
Darla

Both quotes are very moving. I am definitely coming back to this blog again, and again and again.

Even though you may feel torn and pulled in your mind. Your art work is peaceful and full of quietness. Try and take a deep breath and just be. Much easier to say than to do.
