birthday giveaway...

Well... today is my birthday and I have decided to have a giveaway to celebrate turning 39.

Thank you for all your kind comments on my last post.  I am not really worried about turning a year older, it just seems to have come around so fast... this year has just whizzed by.

So for this giveaway I am going to give away a print from my etsy or felt shops... as well as the winner choosing a print of their own they can also choose one for a friend, mother, sister etc...   All you need to do is tell me who you would give the print to and why.

Good luck

note:  When I say today is my birthday I mean 6th September, I published it a bit too early... and also I forgot to say that the giveaway will end monday the 13th September, so you will have a week to enter.... oops

Firstly Happy Birthday sweets, hope you had an amazing day :)
If I could give one of your artworks to anyone it would be my girl Kirstyn.
Kirst is such an incredible friend who gives so much to everyone in her world and expects nothing in return. She gives everything from her time to her very last cent...seriously.. I'd love to give her something that is as wonderful as she is. Cheers xx

Happy Birthday! I would choose 2 of your uk prints - There is nowhere I'd rather be - and give them to my two little boys as a reminder of how special they are to me. As my life changes and they grow up I am starting to step out on a new path away from being just 'Mummy' - a little reminder of how much I have loved that part of our lives would be a treat for all of us! :D

Happy Birthday first of all.

I would gift the print to my amazingly lovely former step-mother in law who has been through such a lot in the last few years and has coped with such strength and grace, and who on the weekend lost just about everything else in the Christchurch quake. She could do with a bit of beauty right now! :)

Hi Katerine. Happy Birthday. If I were to win this giveaway, I would gift myself your beautiful print. Is that bad? It's just that having known you during that magical year of discovery in 1997, your print would serve as inspiration to me to follow my bliss as you are doing.
I hope you had a wonderful day on the 6th and have a wonderful year ahead. XXX

Happy birthday. I, too, am 39. I dare say it's a good age.

Thank you for this lovely giveaway -- what a wonderful way to celebrate.

If I were to win a print I'd give one to my daughter. She is very skilled artistically but doesn't necessarily believe in herself.

Cheers!

Happy birthday! I would give your print to my mum, because she is the most amazing selfless person I know. I have a son who was born with a medical condition and is in and out hospital. My mum works full time but always takes time off to look after my daughter when we're in hospital, does our washing, cooks us dinner. All the things that make our life just a bit easier. Plus her birthday was 4 Sept so would be a lovely belated present for her.

Your birthday is sandwiched in between my father's and my Uncle's! I like to gift on my birthday also, makes it even more special. I'd give a print to my daughter-in-law. She's having my first grandchild this Dec. and I know a beautiful piece of art would make her feel a bit better. Thank you for such a generous gift giving. Tina/redopal

I would give a print to my best friend, who has supported me in so many ways this year as my family faced some unexpected and quite soul-searching issues. She is a mother of 3, soon to be 4 boys, so she would love a little 'girliness' in her life, right next to her bed. Happy Birthday to you!! xo

Happy birthday! Hope you had a wonderful day.

I would give a print to my mother. My mom is an amazing lady who has spent her whole adult life taking care of my father and my three brothers and I. We all have physical and mental illness. She never complains and always tells us all how much she loves us and is so happy to have us as part of her family. She's the true embodiment of love and friendship. <3

First of all, Happy Birthday! It's so sweet of you to do a giveaway on your birthday. The day you are to get gifts yourself. I'm so glad I found you via Kelly Rae Roberts blog.

I checked out your Etsy shop and loved many of your prints. Even marked a couple of favorites. I would give it to my daughter who has had a tough relationship break (marriage) this year. She has decided to redo rooms in her home to brighten up her heart. I would love to give one of your darling prints to her.

I hope that you had a great birthday..I always hate getting a year older.
I would very much like to be entered in to your give away and I would definately give one of your beautiful prints to my husband and father of my two children, Peter. We have been together for about 25 years and we have had some really tough times both together and individually. However, I have to say that he is my rock and I love him more now than I have ever done. However, I just dont tell him often enough. He is so kind and supportive of me and encourages me in everything that I do. I am personally in the process of starting my own photography business and I could not have wished for a more supportive and positive partner. He believes in me like no one else ever has done. It would be a great thank you gift from me to him.
