how do I get there from here...

(a little bit of extra help from a wee propeller)

I have been thinking about where I want to go from here... do I want to carry on the way I am going and see what happens...  Or do I want more?  and if I want more, which I think I might, what more do I want and how do I get there from here?

Now this reminds me of a time once when I was stopped by a couple of tourists wanting to know how to get to another street from where we were... I said to them shaking my head in a very serious voice "Well you can't actually get there from here".  They both had startled looks on their faces... I told them "I was just kidding" and gave them directions to where they wanted to go.

It was after this that I realised that technically I can actually go anywhere from here.  I just have to decide where it is that I want to go... and then make a plan, map out a route, pack a few essentials, maybe ask for a few directions (but not from Katherine Quinn), step over  barriers, smash down those brick walls and pick up a few people along the way...

It is just as well that all of us ladies have a propeller tucked away in our back pockets, all ready to put on, when we decide the time is right to fly. cheers Marie

Oh I love this post..."if I want more, which I think I might". What a wonderful place to be, and how brave to speak up and own it. I'm sure there is much more coming your way.

It seems like you've just answered your questions. :) The trick is that you have to decide where first. :) But don't over think it. Dare to dream big. :)

I love your plan--so just enjoy the journey, even if you get a little lost along the way--you may find things that you never would have found before.

Me too, me too! It's a rather exciting time, knowing that you can pick where you want to go on this journey, but you must first figure out where it is that you want to go! Wherever you choose to go, I know it will be successful for you! Keep us updated!

Making the decision is always the hardest part - in my opinion. Once you're on the path, you can just "go."
